It is a light, fresh and comfortable tunic that has plenty
of room to hang my scissors, measure tape, safety pins, etc.

asi que la converti en una tunica para coser.

Ahora es una tunica ligera, fresca y con suficiente espacio

I use it as a sleepwear, it is very fresh and comfortable.

El frente lo saque de la parte de abajo de un vestido de niña.

Lo de atras de una sabana.

Lo uso como pijama, es muy fresca y comoda.

neckline with a twist / escote con un giro

The neckline was very wide.

Solution: a piece of jewelry (golden pin) and voilá: it fits me!

El escote quedo muy ancho.

La solucion: joyería (un prendedor dorado) y voilá: me queda!

This was a long rectangle, the fabric was great:

the best quality rayon.

I cut the neck and under arms with the pattern and voilá:

a fresh and very graphic long tunic.

Additional challenge: sewing around the neck.

Corte el cuello y las mangas con el patron y voilá:

Take a double rectangle of fabric.

Measure the middle (light blue) to know where to cut.

Cut the neck and the sleeves (red).

Sew together both rectangles (green) and voilá: a tunic!

Hay lindas faldas por todos lados, pero un cuerpo de forma de manzana y esas faldas no se llevan muy bien. Uno no quiere tener todo ese montón de tela alrededor de la pancita.

From a plus size skirt to the perfect dress for a hot day. This time I cut the skirt and sew it again to fit. The top part and the straps came from a tee shirt. If you notice on the top of the hanger there is a bracelet made from the tee shirt left over fabric.

De una falda de talla grande a un vestido perfecto para un dia caluroso. Esta vez tuve que cortar la falta y volverla a coser para que me tallara. La parte de arriba y los tirantes son de una tee shirt.
